The other day I went chanterelle mushroom hunting (a total bust). However, I did find some lovely rose hips. Fall is a good time for foraging, but do be safe.

This year I tried a new squash in my garden. It’s not so big that it’s hard to carry, but it should still produce a fair amount for sides and pies. What was new in your garden this year?
