3 Things Thursday

Three Things Thursday 5-6-21

Each Thursday I share three goodies. Most are homesteading related, but some are just funny or cute or life-giving. Enjoy!

1 – A New Bush

Our bunny barn is half underground so the roof is low and in head-bumping range. So I just bought a cinquefoil bush (also known as potentilla) to plant under the most dangerous corner. It’s supposed to be able to handle temperatures down to -40° F (I sincerely hope we never get that cold) so it should do well here. It has lovely yellow flowers each summer.

2 – Plan Ahead!

The Farm Wife has a lovely article on planning ahead when it comes to canning your garden harvest. So smart. So helpful.

3 – Got Sticks?

I’m always looking for cute ways to create garden markers that aren’t too expensive or labor-intensive. These require a wood-burning tool (though you could use a permanent brown marker) and slices of sticks (bought or made). They have a nice rustic look.

Have a great day! Lori ❤️
